Announcing a brand new feature ! !
I have created easy access to mp3 needle drop previews of various albums I have listed for sale. The folder at the link provided below will take you to where you will find all currently ready. Some even have pictures. You may listen to them at your leisure. If one is not already there that you would like to listen to, simply pm me and I will get it up within 48 hours or less.
Just added are pictures of how I prepare albums for shipping per a request.
Click on the link below. Open the desired folder and click on the file to preview.
Needle Drops and more
These are very revealing warts and all raw rips. They are made with an AT20SLa cartridge mounted on a SL1200 MK3 turntable. It is quite possible that you will not even hear some of the ticks and whatnot on your own rig depending on what it is. You will also hear how dead quiet the vinyl actually is. They are sourced from the 16 bit 48 khz wav files converted to 128 kb mp3's.
Make an informed purchase. These are the master raw warts and all rips before I start editing them. Hear what noise there is and more importantly what is not present before you purchase. Hear how well cleaned these albums really are and how well they sound.
I also just acquired a new anti static weapon to treat all of my vinyl. The FURUTECH destat III which will be applied to the vinyl before shipping to get you off to the best possible start. It is a very remarkable tool and I highly recommend it.

I joined to find out exactly what my precious old LP's are and re enjoy them in my retirement. I've been making mixtapes since my old Wollensack 8-Track Quad recorder. They have set idle for the past 20 or so years. About 15 years ago I took up sound editing and remastering as a hobby to the point where I now listen to wav files exclusively at home and in my car on a USB thumb drive. By 2017 I assembled my ripping equipment to get the job done. Most importantly, I bought a VPI Cyclone to make the most of my vinyl. My cart is an AT- 20SLa and lastly a Technics SL1200MK3 to get the most I can get in my rips. Every album I have listed has been cleaned and ripped into 16 / 48k wav files with the purpose of eventually selling it and passing them on to others who might enjoy them as much as I have. I am a Stage IV cancer survivor having had a stem cell transplant over 10 years ago. No telling how long I have so I'm getting busy and trying to make the most of what I got left and have some fun along the way.

[quote=leonthepro] Another plus for the Wilson is that the Organ solos seem completely distortion free with his touch ups, given you have a good stylus of course. I believe every analog version will distort a bit on these parts as its a flaw on the...

The short durations of the sides is what it is. Me, I rip my vinyl trying to capture the best possible playback, put them away and listen to the rips. The only time I'm flipping the record is during the ripping process. In the case of 45 rpm sets...

Bought this at WalMart out of curiosity. Nice effort. Stands up pretty well against my 1973 UK copy. Some technical differences such as inverted polarity and a little less dynamic, but the average listener would not know any better. Worth buying...

@ musicexpert2 Regarding the Lennon box, I got two of those as well for the reason mentioned below. The first had several well known defects and the second one was good. And the sound was very acceptable as well. GZ is a crap shoot and I found a...

Glad to hear this. I got two copies in case I had to build a good one out of two, which I have had to do more often than not. It's here, just getting ready to open them up.
